Can you take images in 4K

I am told that you can take images in 4K, is this correct?

Yes, but you have to have the computer that's able to process it.

Your question is a little vague.
You can shoot video in 4K resolution - that's what post #2 is referring to.
You can also shoot stills while filming 4K video or you can take screenshots from 4K video.
Either of those options will result in stills of lower quality than shooting stills alone but they may be suitable for some purposes.

Thank you for the clarification.
Someone on this forum insisted that you can take jpeg images in full 4K and I knew that was not possible
