Can you switch modes in-flight without stopping the drone?

Just wondering if you could fly in a certain direction and then with your finger, switch the mode while it's still moving without interrupting the direction? So for example, from a really slow speed mode like tripod mode to sport mode?

Same with any other mode which might be more complex since you have to have one hand on joystick and other hand selecting menus on the screen...
