Can I send my DJI P4P in for repair using same carrying case it came it?

Hey Friends, I just want to know if I can send my drone in for repair using the same carrying case it came in originally.

I've been told by DJI 2 different answers. That they won't send the case back, and that they will.

Has anyone experienced this? They're paying for shipping and everything. I just want to make sure my drone is sent back safely, and with my case.

I'd definitely send it back in the original DJI foam. Otherwise you may be held responsible for damages. I'm sure the replacement will be equally secured, maybe not the same exact foam.
 
Yes. It’s highly recommended. Also, include a written description inside the case with details as to the issue(s) you are having. I had a very good experience sending my P4 back a year ago due to a VPS issue, so nothing against DJI’s repair service, but it’s a big company, and it’s possible that the details that you relayed either electronically or over the phone don’t fully get to the tech on the floor evaluating your unit.
