Camera gimbal

Was up in the air today and the camera gimbal quit working. I couldn’t control the camera and got a tilt alarm on the controller.
All other controls seemed to be working fine.
I landed and cycled the drone on and off and had no more issues.
Is anybody aware of what may have caused this?

I'd start by looking at the hardware for something binding up. Like a loose ribbon for instance.
