I have flown the copter aggressively for test purposes.......I have seen no instability issues....likely because when the copter is moving laterally it does so by leaning into the direction of travel, thus the top of the copter is "in the lead" minimizing the air resistance at the camera and protector area..........too many holes in the protector impact its effectiveness, IMHO.

I would also think there is a difference in Lexan Polycarbonate and "plexiglass" from a strength perspective.......
