Ok I've searched here and can't locate this topic although I'm sure it's already been discussed.

What's the difference in buying itelite DBS extender straight from their site vs. buying from Maxx UAV?

The antenna itself is the same. If you by it direct from DBS MODs, you'll need to drill holes for the antennas -- like this:
