Broken Wire

Hello Gents,

I was installing the mount on mt Standard controller and during the process must have pulled a an antenna wire out of the crimped connector. I was very careful and don't see how this happened unless the crimp was bad. I also noticed the connection below is ready to fall off but it's not the crimp, it's the connection with pc card. Anybody else have these issues? I'm hoping I can just solder it back on.

Looks like you will need to replace the antenna. I don't think you will be able to solder it back on.

Well, after some digging I found that the primary antenna connection wasn't even clicked onto the PC board post, they just positioned it and sealed around it. The wifi connection that pulled out wasn't even crimped so I should be able to slide the antenna wire back into place and re-crimp properly. Very shotty workmanship.

I plan on upgrading to the UTE DBS but was hoping to wait a little bit.
