Brand new P4... battery not charging. Any clues?

I bought mine from B&H. When I called to ask for a replacement, they refereed me to an outfit called Gradus Group, but promised the same policy that they offered. I returned the battery. A while later Gradus called and said they could not find anything wrong, and wanted to return the battery to me. I said it would not charge and I had purchased another battery which did charge just fine so it wasn't my charger. Then they said, ok, if you want a replacement we will send one. A day or two later I saw the shipping notification from B&H, and the new battery has been working fine ever since. I'm a little surprised Amazon isn't handling this for you a little better. If it was a direct purchase from Amazon, they should just do the exchange, no questions asked.
