I have read a lot on phantoms flying away, losing control, and poor quality control. I would like to say that mine has had no issues at all. I have dropped it off a rock http://youtu.be/GAjY00iUYrc

I have crashed it into a brick building, dropped it several times, and it still flies awesome. I fly it over water all the time

I recently went to hawaii and flew it at the top of the Haleakala Volcano Crater @ 10,000ft with 30 mph winds. no problem.

I flew it from the bottom of a 400ft waterfall, at least 100ft above it. (havent posted yet)

I thoroughly abuse every piece of equipment or toy that I own. As far as I'm concerned the phantom is incredible for 700$. Make sure the props are balanced and use the normal gopro housing to get rid of jello. I plan to get a gimble, but for now im alright with the performance.

most of all thanks for all the info. tons of great stuff here.

otherwise nice vids, i like the kayak video and the volcano one!!

thanks for the durability voucher.....

Cool Hawaii shots. Would have been an awkward rescue on Haleakala or the river if you had to land rough. Part of the joy though.
