I'm buying another battery for Pro 3. I noticed on Amazon there is some listed at 4500mah that are cheaper than 4480mah? Are these aftermarket? And can they be trusted? Why the difference?

There are a few third party batteries floating around on Amazon and eBay (like this one). While they might technically work, they are fairly new and there is no telling when and/or if they will fail. It would be best to protect your investment and only use OEM DJI batteries.

Does anyone know if you can use Phantom 3 batteries with a Phantom 2? The voltage is higher, does the drone regulate that?

No. They are not compatible. The Phantom 3 battery will not even slide into a Phantom 2.
