Battery P3 vs P2

Good morning all. I am looking for extra batteries for my drone. In my search I also see batteries for the DJI Phantom 2. These batteries are 6,000 Mah. Can these batteries be used for a Phantom 3 or is this (strongly) discouraged. Perhaps you can clarify it.

By the way, someone may have tips about batteries. My biggest limitations are the battery life during the flight. Does anyone know how to use a battery for longer? Thank you in advance for your attention.

These batteries can't be used for Ph3.
It's not a matter of discouragement, they just won't work. I don't think they will even fit, though I didn't tried that.

Why:
1. Ph3 uses higher voltage cells
2. Both batteries have a micro-controller which communicates to FC. I'm not sure if the communication protocols are even compatible; but if they are, the battery will tell to FC that is is Ph2 battery, so Ph3 FC will not allow to start motors.
