10 year Lifespan of OEM DJI 5870 and 5350 batteries? Impressive and concerning - Thoughts?

6 OEM DJI batteries for my Phantom 4 Pro. Mixture of 5870 and 5350 mah. Some closing in on 10 years of age. Have staggered through using each and keep them at “Storage” level using my DJI multi battery charger.
All between 94% and 98% battery life according to AirData.
Both batteries in my GL300e and GL300f controllers are still going strong also.
Very impressed but also concerned.
What are others experiencing?

I've got 4 OEM DJI batteries for my P3S's that are from 2015. Still going strong with no issues. Auto discharge to 50%, then I recharge fully when they drop below 50%.

That's good to read. Just not use to any batteries lasting like this. Think mine are all set to auto discharge in 3 days. If they were charged for a mission and I didn't use them, I'll put them in the multi charger - in discharge mode - after the mission if I know I'm not going to be using them right away. Then check/charge them all every couple of months if not using.

My auto discharge is set at 10 days. I usually check them each month or so.

One battery freaked me out last year when I checked it.....was down to one blinking bar light. Somehow auto discharge was set to 3 days, and it had been about 45 days since I checked them. But, after resetting the rate to 10 days, it charged up to 100% normally and has behaved itself since then.
