Is it usually hard to take the battery out of the phantom 2 battery bay? Mine is tight and takes some right pulling! Anyone else find this?

You should compare the two above. The second is much harder.


The problem with the '#1" method is that there is a potential for explosive removal where all of the sudden the battery is free and then is thrown from your hands as this occurs.

To be shallow, #1 also looks like you're struggling.
 
Well sure after you sand and lube.

Never done it.

I prefer the battery to resist easy removal.

Yes I didn't think it was you and did not mean to suggest you'd spend 3 minutes on how to sand or remove a battery. ;)

Sand and lube. I don't know where people come up with some of these fixes. I think I need to start compiling a list of things to never do with a Phantom ;)
