Since this thread has gone so far off anyways, I wonder why we feel that R/C batteries need to be "constantly monitored" during charging, but our phones, laptops, etc. don't. I charge my iPhone next to MY BED, and not in a Kevlar bomb safe, either! Just sitting there on the nightstand! The horror!
Seriously, they all share the same battery chemistry, right?

I am glad you posted thus important safety information. I am sure many DJI owners use after market chargers so it is relevant. People that object to this important post need to get a life.
