Bathymetry

How can Bathymetry be done using Phantom 4 pro

Maybe you use your drone to lower a castable fishfinder. Castable Fish Finders | FishHunter | Lowrance | USA I guess it is obvious that you would not want to lower your drone in the water.

Still, it would be a risky operation, because the drone would be hovering above water. It depends on how badly one wants the information. If you are curious about an underwater area that could not be reached by casting the mapping device into the location you are mapping, then hooking the fish finder onto the drone would be possible in theory. It is not, however something for which I would be willing to risk losing my drone.

Here is what Lowrance says about its castable. "FishHunter 3D is a completely portable fishfinder that packs the power of 5 tri-frequency transducers into a sonar that fits in your pocket. Create custom maps of your favorite fishing spots with Bathymetric Mapping, know where to cast with Directional Casting and enjoy the lifelike images of the bottom with 3D Maps and Fishing."
