My method is to merely balance them horizontally. I first tried balancing the prop on a compass point, but the rounded end on the shaft from my Top Flight Magnetic Balancer seems to work better. Any shaft with a pointed or semi-pointed end would work.

First you need to make sure the propeller is straight. I had to heat up a few and straighten the blade end on a few. I put the shaft in my vise vertically, put the prop on the end and spin it slowly so that it finds center. I use a ruler to see if the blades are even as each one comes by the ruler. I remove some material from the heavier blade until it spins evenly and level. After balancing the Chinese knock offs using this method I'm getting no noticeable camera vibration.
