I bought a P4P from Amazon. No video from aircraft to RC. Relinked RC to aircraft to no avail. Returned for replacement. Took replacement out 3 times to fly. Ascent and descent erratic. Even downgraded aircraft and RC firmware to previous version, but no help. Flew a waypoint mission yesterday at 45' altitude. Aircraft (on its own) decided to climb to over 200'. Aborted mission. My flying buddy's P4P performs flawlessly, as does my standard P4. Returning second P4P to Amazon for refund. I'm a GOOD Amazon customer and I appreciate the way the deal with issues like this. Maybe they just got a batch of P4Ps that were built and/or tested on a Monday.

I've had good luck with B&H Photo with my camera and video equipment. Guess I'll try them next and keep my fingers crossed.

Newsflash!!!! Its not Amazon....Its DJI's crummy policy of CONSTANTLY tinkering with the firmware and apps to make flying their drones more and more troublesome to the point of buying pretty white paper weights.

Make sure you are buying in Amazon from authorized DJI vendors and not third parties that don't have the same quality.

I can't disagree about some of the DJI quality issues (especially firmware). However, I've had a P4 since last August. Flies and operates like a dream. With either DJI GO 4 or Litchi.

My flying buddy has had his P4 Pro for about five months. It, too, performs beautifully with latest firmware. He also flies a bit with DJI GO 4, but mostly with Litchi, and mostly mission hub created waypoint flights. Absolutely no problems and the Litchi precision landing puts it on a dime and gives you 9 cents change.

I'm going to keep trying to get a properly working P4 Pro primarily because of the camera and obstacle avoidance, and I think B&H next will be my next vendor.
