@robca Having read what you said I promptly replaced the old antenna prior to turning it back on. I am planning to try it out tomorow when I get the chance.
@msinger thank you for the video however in the end it was not needed as it was the black wire (with the antenna by the battery) so i just linked the two and let one wire pull the other through so it is all ready for the test flight now.
