Hi everybody,

I'm flying as a hobbyist and use both airmap and B4ufly
My question is. When I use B4UFLY it will will say good to go then I checked further and it will also say class D airspace authorization required.. this is a little confusing either I can fly or I can't

Take a look at the warnings below "Good to go!". You'll see a number. In the first case, it says ".64mi". That simply means that Hawthorne Class D airspace is .64 miles away. It's just a warning.

Go to skyvector.com and read the charts, I also like to look at the Kittyhawk app.
