Attitude mode

I just purchased my P3S and am waiting on some new props to get here. I didn't get a book and don't want to mess up while flying it.

Is Attitude Mode the same as flying a regular non-GPS drone?

In Attitude Mode, the drone will hold its vertical position and will drift horizontally with the wind.

The response and sensitivity of controls is different from one drone to the next, but yes, flying in ATTI mode is the pure non-GPS manual mode on the Phantoms. Reacts quite differently from the GPS mode but similar to flying any drone in manual mode. Definitely get the feel of flying your P3S in ATTI in case you have to in getting it home. When things go wrong and it's out of visual sight is not the time to try and figure it out. That's where the distance indicator and map on the Go Ap comes in real handy!
