I am looking for a solution to mount the phantom 3 gimbal mount plate to phantom 4.

I have already removed the phantom 4 camera mount plate. I will be getting the new phantom 4 camera mounting plate without gimbal. Now, I want to attach the phantom 3 plate there. But then there is no holes on the base to attach that plate directly.
Has anyone tried this things so far?
Basically, I want to do this to attach my new FLIR - Thermal camera there.
Please suggest some solution.
