Are there any exemptions that allow you to fly over 400'

Do people with commercial licenses have the right to fly above 400'? Is it possible to fly at 5000'?

To fly over 400' you have to get a specific "Exemption" that is outside of the Section 333 or Part 107 process.

In general you'd have to get the approval/exemption for each specific flight/location to operate outside of the Section 333 or Part 107 (when it goes into effect in late August).

I would say you would be hard pressed to get to 5000 feet and back on one battery.
