Android or IOS ?

What is the consensus ? Which works smoother / better IOS platform or android. I'm currently running a Note 3, it seems to work once I get it going, but locks up frequently when I first start the P3 and the video signal or fpv always has issues on start up. after a reboot or two it seems to do ok.. although it still locks up mid-flight if I do still photos.

I have a Galaxy Note 3 currently with Lollipop and it locks up every time I use the Photograph button. Taking video is fine. And I don't use it during video, when its NOT recording video, if I take a still image the app locks up.

I used the Note 4 and Samsung 8" without any problems.
wanted to have the Tab S 10.5 because I dont like IOS so much.
After checking I decided to take the Ipad Air 2 recommended by most people

I'm loving the Nexus 9 (after adding a matte anti-glare screen protector), it's on the pricier end, but the big high res screen is great for showing off your videos and pictures.
