I Agree! I also fly with Phantom 3 Standard and i've been more than pleased with the 2K -video quality.
The best use of it is to crop it down to FullHD and tweak up the colors using proper video editing software... Only real disadvantage IMO to a "Pro" version drone is the distance and signal strenght limits made on it. Even though reading this forum it too has been diverted with skillfull modding
