Altitude wrong

I was hovering my vision 2 about 3 feet off the ground, and noticed that the altitude was reading 17+ feet.. What would cause this? I took off from ground level, and waited until the gps had locked on to have flashing green..

Phantom/FC200 DNG image EXIF data has: "GPSAltitudeRef Above Sea Level"

Altitude as displayed in the OSD is relative to the take off position (lat/lon/alt). GPS is not very good at altitude until you have a decent number of satellites.
