advice with replacing long ribbon cable on camera on P3A

One of the 2 gray ribbon cables tore out of the connector , I have ordered part 42 from dji , Question is will I have to take the main board out to thread the new cable into its connector, I know the connector on the main board is easy to get to just didn't really want to take entire board out ??

No. It plugs into the top of the main board.
