I ran a crossed this last night and haven't had time to explore it completely but so far I like it
pros :
very easy to use
Its free
does 4K
does 1080p 60fps
has wild effects and filters

Cons :
It took 50 min to compile this 1 min clip

It is free https://www.openshot.org/ but they do accept donations

Whoa! My wife isn't going to like that! lol
Works across several platforms, that's nice. Probably try in on my main PC since it has better horsepower compared to my laptop.

Yeah I didn't know it at the time but my lap top is under powered for this . 16 meg of ram should work fine

Yeah that's a good app, furthermore it's free so i guess you can use it if you just started studying video editing
