Amazon has a sale on the 64 gig card. Just throwing it out there.

Thanks for the heads-up! I had some Amex points so my total for 2 cards was $0.00 :D

That's one of the better Samsung cards at a nice price.

FYI if you spring $45 for the 128 GB card you get a roughly 50% boost in write speed. Don't yet know if the bird can take advantage of the extra speed though...

Unlike Apple, Samsung has a nasty habit of creating multiple similar products, throw them to a wall, and see what sticks.

What is the difference between between these SD cards:

Samsung Pro+ / Pro Plus / Pro Select

Samsung EVO / EVO+ / EVO Plus / EVO Select

I guess they all are decent and might work very well in a DJI AC. But who knows.

Funny, I don't see any Apple SD cards in that list. ;)

Doesn't matter... If Apple made them they'd just introduce them on some unique interface so they could charge double the price in a pretty white box and get exorbitant licensing fees from third parties (think MFi or those darned 30-pin connectors).

Meanwhile I see similar muddy distinctions among Sandisk's offerings, along with PNY and Adata. Maybe not so much with Kingston. It ain't just Samsung. Wise consumers as always are best advised to read the fine print, particularly about write speeds, and/or check performance testing sites such as the one you posted.

Additional warning: I've noticed that even among particular, specific models of memory cards, the speeds sometimes vary significantly with the size of the card.

Actually very little, I ordered a 32Gb that I listed last week(evo plus),
so tested it again various other 32Gb Samsung cards, Evo, Evo + and Evo Plus,
all tested very similar speeds, using Flash drive tester.

Evo Plus Red label U1 16Mbs/19.2Mbs(MyMemory) - Latest
Evo+ Red label U1 13.6Mbs/20.3Mbs(Amazon)
Evo Orange label U1 13.1Mbs/19.3Mbs(MyMemory)
Evo Orange label U1 13.3Mbs/18.8Mbs (7day)

Looks like your using a USB 2.0 port on your PC/Laptop. I found a huge difference between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, even using the same SD card in both. Here's a few test results I did yesterday after I'd been to the dentist and was bored not being able to talk properly, or eat and drink for three hours. :(

I used the same SanDisk Extreme 32GB U3 V30 Micro SD Card for all the tests, other than running one test on a 64GB U1 and one on the Laptop's SD Card reader at the end.

I think the Laptop's SD card reader is using the USB 2.0 bus.

What software and hardware did you use to test the cards?

Smaller card, but tested via usb2 and usb3 sockets

I"I'm going right out and spend $800 for Sandisk's newest 512GB SD card", said nobody ever .........

I didn't see a link to that!

Sandisk et al wouldn't make 'em if "nobody" bought 'em, ya' know...

My DSLR has a 128GB Lexar Pro 1066X CF card and a 64GB Lexar Pro 600X SD card in it (when the 32GB EyeFi isn't in its place), both bought a few years ago when cards in those sizes and speeds were fairly absurd amounts of money. Hundreds of dollars, US. At time I was more concerned about fast storage, not just relatively copious amounts of it, and the speed was totally worth it for me and for many others as well.

Your Mileage May Vary

I'm still waiting to hear from Technical Bob about what software and hardware he was using to test his flash memory.

No, Apple just limits your products so they can sell you a newer one, but try to trick you into thinking that they were doing it for your own good.
