4200m first successful long distance flight

Halo everyone.

I have uploaded all my dji phantom 3 pro and some older phantom 2 flights.

Last flight i managed to get 4200m one way and 8500m total aprox.. Very impressive i think!

Clear signal path w/o obstruction and proper antenna orientation is all that is required.

I was at a high location overlooking the phantom 3 and with direct view over the sea so no obstacles whats so ever.
Some interference from multiple wifi networks operating at various frequencies over there but by constantly adjusting the orientation of the antennas of the controller i was able to go so far.
All and all very impressed with the bird!

Another time i tried to fly it behind sonme buildings and i got 800m max!!
Trees and buildings make the difference!!

It's amazing how many people buy beach front property, and then build a pool in their back yard. Nice video.

Haha very true.. Especially here in corfu where the sea is very safe and calm.... No sharks or big waves over here!
