I keep hearing when searching for info on firmware for my p3a the term "400 or below" . What exactly are they talking about ?. New to the forum so please excuse the question as I 'm trying to learn as much as I can

Basically,
Manned aircraft is supposed to stay 500' and above, my dad has a Pilots license, he is supposed to stay 1000' and above.
