No, it's part of the GO app. The hack changes only the GO app, not the craft firmware.

I'm hearing the channel hack no longer works in the latest Go4. DJI put the kibosh on that hack.

You might consider buying a P4P and fly on 5.8Ghz. No issues there.

Unless DJI changes their SOP, you'll suffer through 6mos of fixing firmware things if you buy one right when released. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm going to do the same thing I did with P4P and wait 6mos for everything to be fixed, and this forum confirms everything is good. Then buy one, possibly.
