3 newbie questions

[Gyroplanes]

1. When I power up my P2, the GoPro "on" light illuminates. Is there a reason why?
   
2. Is my GoPro camera receiving power from the P2 via the cable I plug in to the port ?
3. Why does the gimbal respond to the yaw stick commands. It is probably supposed to move, but why do you need it when the copter yaws?

3. It looks a bit weird when it's standing still but that's how you get the smooth video - the gimbal responding immediately to the movement of the Phantom.

The cable supplies power to your GoPro which is why the red light comes on - it's the equivalent of plugging your battery charger in.

I kinda guessed at that. Thanks for the confirmation. So if my GoPro battery is low, it won't matter with it plugged in? Nice to know. I probably want a fully charged GoPro battery as to not put any further load on my P2's battery. Thank you!
