2312 "Old" Motor Replacement

I bought my P3A directly from DJI eight months ago. It has the old style 2312 motors. I am finding that they are not sold by DJI and are becoming very scarce elsewhere. How the hell can they obsolete a part so soon, knowing you would have to replace the entire main board to use the 2312A motor??
So what am I to do? Buy replacement motors while they are still available with the probability I will never use them? This sucks!

Have you tried? Yes, they are available but limited. Since DJI is not making them any more, will they be available in a year or so?

There is no shortage of 2312 motors right now. Nobody knows when DJI will be sunsetting old Phantom products. They never publish that information ahead of time.
