It only appears on location-aware devices as far as I can see. Safari on my iPads show it, but not on my Mac.

Safari on my Macbook Pro shows the Home button. works fine.

To add to that, location is best used on mobile devices. On desktops it is often available but is based on ip which can be way off.

Yes - also works on my MBP and MBr machines running El Cap and Sierra - those have location services. Earlier versions did not.

My office PC (Which is where I'm sitting right now) gets the location from some random "Node" that happens to be in the next state. Any time I go to a website that used "Location Services" (for instance Best Buy or Staples) it always shows me a store location about 150 miles from where I am LOL.
