I have discovered that if I do more then use the computer to fly my drone it will invariably end up in trouble. Fortunately, most encounters have been evergreen trees that have left little real damage other than blades and the guards. I am replacing some of the parts on my Phantom 3 Standard 4K...
that was part of the info i needed. The long and short of it. I am a civil designer and i have a P3. I trying to find a way to use it to help us even if it is just to fly over an area and give us elevations so we can do concept work. But 10 ft from zero point just will not cut it. I thinking...
I am not. i am just confirming my thought without crashing my drone. Is there an option for it to follow the ground detection sensor @ like 8-10 ft. 10 being the max for the sensor
I am under the impression that if you set it to hover at 200 ft that is 200 ft above it's otiginal take off point not the ground. So if you set it to fly at 5ft does it not make sense that it will fly the same 5ft above take off point? Or does the ground sensor work at this point?
Maybe im just missing it in the instructions. I would like to make my P3 fly at 5 ft above the ground, NOT 5 ft above the starting elevation. Any suggestions would be nice.
I could really do for a set of schematics for the P3. I am thinking about replacing the ground sensor that has a range of 10ft with a 120 ft Lidar. Does anyone know information about the power and data cable from the ground sensor currently used in the P3. Has anyone done this before so they can...

So I just got into my drone files and found that the ground sensors of my P3 seem to only work below 10ft. Is there any way to turn this up or a replacement for the sensor that. Will give me more range from the ground?
I have a P3 4k. Where can I find location data on the drone. Does it record and store gps and elevation data in a way to make txt file of it? Is it in the drone, the memory in the guimble, or on the control device on the remote?
Title pretty much says it all. i have a P3 and am going to start working toward doing mapping for my company. Is the P4 better suited? Why and can I upgrade my P3 to have more capabilities? UPDATE i guess i should have included that I do have the P34K. but dont think i have the lightbridge. much...
