Even though I spent 10 minutes searching I could not find a post that verified the fact that a P2V+ can be bound to the remote control of a P2V. So, even though it's probably been said before, I'm here to say that there is no problem doing this.
The P2V remote controller is slightly more powerful than the P2V+ remote controller, so you get greater 5.8Ghz remote control range. You could also use an FC40 remote control, because it's identical to the P2V remote control.
Since the stock 2.4Ghz range extender for the P2V+ is more powerful than the one on the P2V, I'm using the P2V+ range extender with the P2V remote control in order to get the best of both worlds.
This will be the last time that I worry about posting something that may have already been posted by someone else. It's not worth a lot of search time trying to avoid duplication.
