My main business is real estate photography, been using the Phantom range for a few years but need to up my game, especially for night shots.

Is the X5 worth the investment?

Does an M43 camera outperform a high end mobile phone? Yes. No question. Not to mention the available lenses are significantly better.

If you were shooting video you would be dissapointed with the same crippling bitrate however if your taking stills the X5 pulls the pants down on any of the phantoms.

Unquestionable it's a better camera.
You get to choose your lens and have a real aperture. and a bigger sensor for better images.
But everything in aerial photography is a compromise.
On the negative side, you have a much less portable machine that takes more time to get into the air and has much shorter flight times.
