Wifi, with gopro 3 and Phantom Vision, whats the difference?

There have been reports of using Gopro 3 and wifi together causing flyways. The new Vision Phantom will use the same Wifi system, and also capable of using the ipod/ipad/iphone to see what the camera sees, so wonder what has changed in the Phantom Vision to stop flyaways?

Or has nothing changed, and owners of the Vision will have flyaway issues? Just wonder why the Vision will be any different to using the gopro3 and wifi?

Everyone was wondering that when it was announced.
Nobody knows the true answer, but apparently DJI figured out a way to broadcast a wifi signal that doesn't interfere with the Phantom Rx.

But have they figured it out? will have to wait and see, but don't see how they could have figured it out? would need also a hardware change and so far the only hardware change I have heard is extra hardware for camera and gimble. If they claim to have figured it out, then why not tell use who have a gopro 3 and wifi, why no solution for us unless it's all lies, just to flog off another model of Phantom?

No idea, but may as well wait and see what they come out with.

there are lots of version of Wifi,. there's wireless A, B, G and N
maybe the GoPro uses the one that's got a conflict with the Phantom and their new system doesn't
