WIFI range extender

Will the new P3 range extender work with the P2+ v.3? I know you would have to re-sink it to the camera. The other range extender antennas I have seen look like their installations are just an accident waiting to happen.Thanks.

Don't know much about the P3, but I hear it uses 2.4ghz but does not run wifi.... so it just uses 2.4ghz for the TX/RX frequency, the same as a cell phone uses 900 or 1800mhz based on where it is...

So I would think it would not work.... I might be wrong, but our P2V+ need wifi as in an access point on 2.4ghz... but the p3 is just using 2.4ghz without the wifi/access point part... which is part of the reason why the range is so much better
