Wide screen?

Can anyone tell me why my shot is too small in this video? It looks like wide screen or something. Am I missing a setting in the dji go app? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.....

I have it set for 1080p...my pc
won't read the card in the 2. Setting

If you set it for 16:9 it will crop the top and bottom off and give it the letterbox effect (as I found to my cost recently).

What video editing program are you using? Most will detect the original camera settings and offer to adjust the video editing program to match those settings.

Adobe Elements 14 doesn't, although there is a workaround which forces it to do so..

I use power director 12. I'm gonna take the bird up today and check my settings. I'm sure it's just something stupid I'm missing. Thanks...

I think I got it dialed in. I wasn't on 16:9...made a big difference. Thanks for the help..

I've gotta upload in a better quality though. Looks a bit blurry..any suggestions would be cool...thanks

I didn't find the quality too bad. The thing you gotta remember is YouTube will compress the video and squeeze out a lot of detail.

Power Director is a great program. Look around and you will find some effects that will sharpen your image just a tad. I also recommend exporting the highest quality possible and then upload. If you upload through Power Director, (I think they offer that option) you may be exporting a low quality setting selected by Power Director.

160 feet. Good for you! Not to worry, I still cringe. It's a nerve-racking hobby, but I've taken baby steps and my confidence grows with every flight. And you don't need to fly 400 feet high to get good images. In fact, the best shots I've seen from my P3S were from below 200 feet.

Nice..thanks for the advice. Power director has been a cool program. It does lack a few things but it works for what I need it to. For some reason they don't have video speed. I think you can slow it down but not speed it up as to make a time lapse. But all in all...its worked for me so far...thanks again..

Kev74, there is a way to speed up/down your video. Rather than spell it out, here's a link to a YouTube from a guy just like you who couldn't find it.

I love PowerDirector as well.

I love PowerDirector as well.

I use Power director 12...theres no option on it for time lapse video for some reason. If there is...im missing it. Unless I can find a free pd app more up to date..ill stick with 12...thanks man.
