Hoping my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will work...according to the specs it will physically fit in the controller.
"Thickness supported:6.5-8.3mm max length 160mm"
My device is 150mm x 8.3mm so right on the thickness limit
It works with my P3A , so fingers crossed it should be compatible with the Mavic.

This is like trying to explain something technical to my wife. Lol. Not everyone is having issues with their S7s, and after your response, it sounds like there are no reports of S7 issues with a Mavic yet. If people are having carrier specific problems(common with Android updates), hopefully it will be rectified for them soon.
How would there be reports if the Mavic hasnt been released yet? Why would you even bring the P3 into the conversation in the first place?
