Thanks! I was about to purchase a 3rd party gimbal, but i think I can wake a couple weeks

So while I am waiting for the gimbal, I might as well purchase the transmitter for my monitor. Any suggestions?

You can check out the DJI 5.8 setup, I just bought this and only ran a few quick tests but works great and had no issues at just under 500m away. http://www.helipal.com/dji-avl58-fpv-sy ... tenna.html

Its going to be raining the next few days and it even drizzled a bit while I did my tests which I ended quickly after that.

Cant wait for the gimbal and hope to get a price in the next week or so, so that I know how many pennies I need to save.

My setup has everything I need except for the gimbal, then I am all set for an expensive crash once I get it. :lol:

Well that's just what DJI is kinda saying, . nobody knows how fast they'll actually be shipping them to customers.

I'd probably suggest you look into the immersionrc stuff,. with the 600mw Tx,. then if you decide to get goggles they'll work with the same Tx (get spironet antenna's too)
