When is a model declared obsolete by DJI?

Does anyone know how long DJI will manufacture spares for a particular model before they declare it obsolete and stop manufacture?

Do they have a policy?

True but the phantom 3 series were more popular than the 1 and 2 and there are even more parts support for it... Even third parties products.
