what type of solder to use on video tx?

I am about to solder on my fatshark 250 mw tx to my Phantom 2 and was wondering if it makes any difference as to what type of solder I use? I have rosin-core solder in thicknesses of .022", .032" and .050". I also saw different types of solder at Radio Shack including ones without the rosin core. This is my first big soldering job (have practiced quite a bit) and would prefer to not mess anything up. Thanks.

For sure use rosin core solder. That is the easiest to work with.

Choose a diameter that is on the smaller size. That will be easier to melt with the fine wires on the Phantom.
