What to do with the old RE 500

I replaced my RE500 with the RE700, and now just wondering what to do with the 500. Can it be used for your home wifi router as an extender? If so, is there any help pages somewhere? Anyway, I was just wondering what else it could be used for.

Spare battery for RE 700 or spare mounting bracket.

Also, good for a backup device ( you never know ? ) might just save you one day!!
That is what I keep mine for, and actually used it once, due to dead battery on my
700....( user error ) lol...

Just hold on to it. If the RE700 dies for some reason you still have the 500. No break in flying then.
