What software to view my .MOV files on Windows XP computer?

I have Windows media player and VCC media player.. VLC, the bar goes across the bottom but the picture does not advance. Thanks.

Have you tried MPCStar ? It supports .mov files

might be the old (I assume since xp) computer struggling to playback the high definition footage. Single core and some dual cores struggle with 1080p.

Yes, is it an XP computer, I have a Win 7, that can't play them either, just had somebody sent me up with Win7 Desktop, with correct video card and a 25" monitor, showed him what the Highest Quality was on P3S, all my problems went away. Well kind of.......
$1000.00 bill, but it works great..

I just downloaded it. Best so far but still not completely smooth. When I pan fast it jumps a bit. THANKS

Tried it. It's good but still flickes a little on a fast pan. My computer isn't powerful enough. I think. At the end od the video it seems to stop until I drag the indicator back a bit.
