No problem man. Just glad I was able to help. Which firmware version did you go with?

When to the newest but RC won't down load it it is staying at 1.8 don't know why

Hey man, did u get the RC updated? If u connect and turn on in this order RC, AC, OPEN APP u should be able to get to CAMERA option in the App. If u get that far in the process, u want to see if GO APP is giving u any notifications of possible update, u will see them when u open up the App then Camera u will see them posted in Red. If u are all good and nothing needs to be updated then u should definitely do an IMU Calibration on a completely level surface, then check to see if the Go App wants u to do an RC calibration, then with everything turned on and hooked up, make sure u are outside and away from any metal objects, do a Compass calibration, the App will walk u through the process. Let me know how it goes, if everything goes well u should be in the air...
