Water Pictures do not look correct

This is not a consistent issue. Settings are on auto using a P3 Pro.

Notice all the ripples in the water? The water was actually fairly smooth.

I'm not sure why these are like this. Any help would be appreciated.

not raw and no edits. You can see in this one as well. Pictures on land look good.

It looks over-sharpened (in camera by the sound of it).
How you resized the file for here might also be responsible.
Turning the camera settings to -1 or even -2 might help.
RAW will give better results ultimately.
