video stutter

Hi guys,

I am trying to figure out why my videos are stuttering when they are conformed into Final Cut Pro. Im shooting in 1080 24p and when my editor loads the footage, it seems like its skipping a frame every second and it creates this "frame jump" effect. has anyone else experienced this?

Does it skip when you copy it onto your PC and play it back via media player/VLC? If yes, then you need more PC processing.

Or is this during the editing process? If during editing, then normal. It's the PC/Mac unable to keep up.
