Ok, so out flying yesterday filming some paddle boarders on the sea. Contacts cleaned as suggested above, and a new cable between iPhone and TX. All with the latest software remember.
Flight went well with no lag until about 4 minutes in, then it started again. Being close to the boarders at the time, I didn't want to risk flying into them or the mast of a few yachts that were nearby, so I climbed up into the air and the lag cleared again and I didn't have any for the rest of the flight.
I usually am pretty analytical about how a problem exists and think through what happened or what was different from previous flights but this one truly has me stumped. How can lag appear one moment and disappear the next. It really is frustrating, especially when filming a one-off event.
